When you are moving, there is so much to think about that it’s easy to forget about the little things that might make a huge difference. One common situation we have encountered over the years is that what fits in your old home may not necessarily fit in your new place. Common pieces that cause this problem are sofas, armoires and even box springs, due to their bulky and rigid structure. But don’t worry if you encounter this issue on your move day, we have a few solutions to help.
First, we will assess the site to see if we can arrange to hoist the piece through a balcony or window. Second, if the piece is too heavy to hoist, we can organize for a crane to lift the piece for you and then have our men set it in place. Finally, if these scenarios are not possible, we can arrange to provide storage in one of our self-service or full-service storage facilities until you can figure out what you need to do with the piece.
